oh boy..

one of the things that makes my heart pump more blood is relationship problems. I mean serious ones. You can really see a person's color when this is on the table. Like recently, I had a very close friend here who broke up with his girlfriend.(just 5 hours ago)

From the mouth of the girl, (and based on the physical evidence) my friend hit her. Now, i've known this guy for a considerable time and I am having difficulty believing this statement. But I have ways of finding that out. Also, just 25 minutes ago, these two we're chasing each other on the street. HERE. In tha UAE. Aparrently, some friends of them are leaning more on the girl as being the victim.Casting the guy "the" bad guy. Personally, I could care less what they think for everything is ok now. It's talked over and agreed upon. It was a binding social contract. But nooooooo. He had to storm out of the apartment and pay they friends a little visit. An unfriendly one at that. I had to witness all of this for the girl banged the door where I work and told me where he's goin. I told her to let him be for he'll just embarass himself. I can understand a man's protection of his reputation but this is way off. Now, this is the change of color I was talking about.

I'm waiting for the guy so I can talk some sense into him. For all our sakes, I hope I succeed.

Shamrock!

I've started watching this new show on GMA. It's generating a wave actually. It's captain Barbell, and not I did not shout it out. At first, I didn't enjoy it very much. Almost instantly, when I saw the trailer and the cast, I knew it was a "local version" of smallville. All characters are there plus the part where the lead actor was living in a barn. I mean, come on! Also what striked me was camille prats' clothes on the start of the movie.Red checkered long sleeves and a blue in-shirt. That's when it really hit me.

Of course, for people who aren't familiar with Smallville, this is a really great twist of stories. Goma as Viel - a rich, influential man who wants to nothing more than, well, MORE of what he and everybody has. Now, Viel has a son. You can never guess his name. I'll help you anyway. Its Levi... I don't need to explain the jumble of letters off the tree right? Superman's nemesis is Lex Luthor and his father is Lionel Luthor. I mean, duh!

Either way, I still like watching it for I love smallville. Hope you do too. Kudos to GMA.

lost

No, not the TV series but a very special person in my life is. During the time I have been close to her, I have avoided making decisions for her. Big ones that is. More like I refuse to. Honestly, it may be because I don't want to be blamed for any regrets or negative outcomes if ever I were to do it. I do, on the other hand, give options, suggestions, comments and what not to help her make a good decision on whatever. I have always believed I'm doing the right thing but recently, I'm not sure anymore. I hate to think that there will come a time where you will have to do it. For her sake.

Most of the time I tend to put my own inclination aside. Far aside. Indulgence has been somewhat of a stranger to me. Prayers are my only consolation in these times of frailty. I do hope she has the strength and guidance from above to carry out what she have decided. And soon...

alcohol dabs

People have different reasons, seasons, ways and approaches to drinking. The most common is the "social" reason. The infamous "I drink socially". This can be translated into - "where there is alcohol, I'm there." I have to admit that I was once like this. I mean, I would be to every drinking venue even if I only know one person on that group. ahh, good times! There was even a time where we don't have much money and we would make this concoction called 50 or 45 i think. Basta, it's a number. You don't wanna know what's in it. Trust me.

I vary between two extremes. I either drink because I'm bored and don't know nothing better to do. Or, I'm really in tha mood to. Now that can get ugly. There was one time, and one I will probably never forget, i asked a friend to have a drink with me and he replied with a "what's the problem?" I wanted to sway him away from the idea but he DID catch me off-guard. As we we're drinking, he's asking what the problem was.I told him, I'm not that drunk yet to divulge. We finished a case and a half of redhorse beer. Just the two of us. I was limp and swaying like a rice stalk full to the tip. Her girlfriend came to my apartment and I brazenly asked for food. It still cracks me up just thinking about it.

There was also an incident where we we're almost hit by a car as we were coming out from Diamond, the place to be when you want to drink. My friend, who was a little tipsy quickly sped off and followed the other car. When we were able to make him stop, he quickly gave us the "right of way" routine. Funny thing was, my friend wasn't even asking anything. Now here's the line I'll die before I forget - "right of way, right of way.. barilan daka ken eh!" ( i'll shoot you right here) Of course I knew he doesn't have any ammunition to back up that remark but another friend of ours, the same guy I drank 1 and a half case with was in the backseat and he turned to me shivering "does francis have a gun?". I said no he doesn't. By this, he started breathing normally.

These stories are only a scratch off the surface with all the adventures I had with my friends. Hope you learned something boys and girls.
